At M&J we’re passionate about supporting our local communities, which is why we’re delighted to be sponsoring Shrewsbury Up & Comers Falcons Under 11s for a second consecutive season.
This is a fantastic group of young players, managed by our very own Head of Health & Safety, @John Pritchard and most of whom have been playing together since they were just seven years old. Over that time, they’ve grown into a close-knit team that genuinely embodies the values we believe are so important:

⭐ Respect
Last season was an incredible one, with the Falcons scoring an impressive 148 goals, reaching three semi-finals, and lifting a trophy. This season they have started strongly again, remaining undefeated and conceding just one goal so far.
What stands out most, however, isn’t the results; it’s the way these young players approach every training session and match with enthusiasm, commitment, and a determination to improve. The focus is always on development, learning, supporting one another, and most importantly, enjoying the game.
John said “the excitement when the players received their new kit this season was truly brilliant to see. They take enormous pride in representing their club and wearing the badge, and they certainly look the part in their new M&J sponsored strip”.
A huge thank you to the coaches, volunteers, and families who give so much of their time to create opportunities for these young people. We are proud to play a small part in supporting a team that is helping children build confidence, friendships, resilience, and memories that will last a lifetime.
